ZAZENKAI SCHEDULE

SPECIAL NOTICE:

Henry will be conducting an Introduction to Zen Practice (Zazen) on Tuesday evening January 24th and February 7th from 6-7:30pm at the Todd Street Zendo. Everyone is welcome from beginners to experienced practioners who may wish to refresh their meditation experience.

SITTING AT TODD ST. ZENDO:

• The regular zazenkai schedule will be sitting at the Todd St. Zendo on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd (and 5th if applicable) Saturdays from 9am - 12noon.

• Zazenkai at Mt. Cloud in Santa Fe on 4th Sundays. Check Mt. Cloud schedule for more information on their sitting schedules. Contact Henry Shukman at 505-577-5929 for additional information regarding sitting at Mountain Cloud Zendo. http://mountaincloud.org/shukman.html

• Daily sitting times: 6:00am - 7:30am Monday thru Friday

• Second Saturday of each month we will have tea at the end of sitting

• There will normally be a teisho (dharma talk) at Saturday zazenkai by either Joan Rieck or Henry Shukman as well as an opportunity for dokusan (private interview) with either teacher

• If you are late or need to leave early, please enter or leave only during kinhin (walking meditation) at 25- or 55-minutes past the hour

• If you are coming for the first time please call Joan at 505-994-2795 the day before and arrive at 8:45am on Saturday morning for a short introduction. We sit at:
